Moontime - Folk Herbs for Menstrual Wellbeing

Description

Chasteberry, lady’s mantle, nettle, cramp bark and chamomile, with crab apple flower essence. A botanical blend inspired by the rhythms of your cycle.

Wunder Workshop’s Moontime brings together five herbs with a longstanding place in women’s herbal care. Created with menstrual wellbeing in mind, it combines organically grown botanicals from British and European farms in a convenient liquid tincture.

The blend reflects founder Zoe’s personal connection to these herbs and her experience of using them throughout her own menstrual journey.

Why it belongs in Feminine Alchemy

Moontime’s focus is the menstrual cycle: the changing needs, sensitivities and moments of discomfort that can come with it.

Chasteberry gives the formula a particularly relevant botanical foundation. Some studies of specific chasteberry preparations suggest benefits for premenstrual symptoms, although results cannot automatically be applied to this blend.

Alongside lady’s mantle, nettle, cramp bark and chamomile, it creates a formula rooted in traditional menstrual care, a clear fit for Feminine Alchemy.

Five herbs, one cyclical focus

  • Chasteberry (Vitex agnus-castus): traditionally associated with menstrual wellbeing and studied in specific preparations for premenstrual symptoms.
  • Lady’s mantle: a familiar herb in European traditions of women’s care.
  • Nettle: contributes to the blend’s folk-herbal character.
  • Cramp bark: traditionally included in preparations for cramping and menstrual discomfort.
  • German chamomile: an aromatic botanical associated with soothing herbal preparations.

Crab apple: a tradition of self-acceptance

Moontime includes crab apple flower essence, associated within flower-essence practice with self-acceptance and a kinder relationship with yourself.

This adds a symbolic dimension to the blend’s philosophy. The association belongs to flower-essence tradition; it is not an established treatment for fear, shame or emotional distress.

Herbs with a connection to the land

Wunder Workshop sources Moontime’s herbs from British and European organic farms, with several ingredients grown biodynamically in tune with seasonal and lunar rhythms.

Chasteberry, lady’s mantle, nettle and cramp bark are identified as both certified organic and biodynamically grown. German chamomile is certified organic.

The finished tincture is presented in Miron violet glass with a compostable label and a pipette described by the producer as recyclable.
